Wont Go Into Reverse, Now Stuck In 5Th Gear

so the box would occasionally pop out of 5th into neutral , now it wont go into reverse and it currently is stuck in 5TH gear

clutch pedal does work and can clutch in and start car while stuck in 5TH gear

all signs point to a new box being needed but might as well throw a few ideas around

Um....it's obviously the 5th-reverse selector that's crook. It's either worn or a locating dowel pin has slipped out or broken.
