Vibration In 4Th And 5Th Gears

Recommended Posts

Yeah I might have to check them. The drive train is all good, mounts and rubbers are all good. It's an intermittent thing that happens when there is low load on the drivetrain as gtr joey described as if some slack is introduced and just thinking about it there is a bit of roughness when itt happens. But I will check the engine mounts as there may be a bit of movement. Intermittent stuff does my head in.

The passanger one is harder to check because it has a heat shield over it

I never even knew mine was stuffed till I changed my engine out. Was going to swap them to Nismo items anyway, so lucky cause this is what the passenger side looked like:

I too have this noise after installing a Nismo Coppermix clutch kit on mine.

On mine you can hear it in 3th,4th and 5th at low rpm, when going past 2500 rpm the noise is gone.

All my engine, gearbox mounts are ok.
