I got a brand new sensor (o2) for my front turbo or front oxygen sensor for my rb26. But after I pluged it in my d jectro power fc went to 5.12v on that channel, and the rear one was at 0.04v. After a while of idling the rear one warms up and starts to move up slowly, but the front one isn't moving at all.

Attached is the photo of the sensor I got brand new. And I'm lost as to why this is happening, all I can think of is there has to be two kinds of sensors for a gtr r32 rb26 motor. High to low or low to high voltage. Im just guessing here.

I would appreciate any help.

maybe incorrect setting on PFC perhaps

r32 titania & r33 zirconia, there's an option in r32/33 pfc to set which one is being used (o2 sensor reg), this needs to be on for R32 and off(+ sign) for R33 gtr

edit - explained

02 REG is needed for BNR32 owners
as the PFC unit for BNR32 and BCNR33 is the same unit but the BNR32 has titania 02 sensors and BCNR33 has normal 02 sensors.
the BNR32 needs to be set as registered to make them work as titania sensors properly. Otherwise with it off the PFC assumes they are BCNR33 style 02 sensors.
This is covered in the FAQ

apexi's official answer;
There is a difference in the O2 sensor for these vehicles. (With or without internal register)
After tuning, please check () "O2 SENSOR REGISTER" for BNR32, and NOT for BCNR33.
* It may be different if the O2 sensor is modified and/or changed.

Wow. Im lost now. Where do I find the with or without internal register feature. ???

I will look over the FAQ section and see if I find anything.

Whats a titania o2 sensor??.

And whats the right part numbers for a sensor of that type.?? If you have it. I think im running normal sensors right now. The voltage starts about 0.04 and as the car runs they go up slowly.

Can someone expain this in layman's term. Lol

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
