Ok Guys,

i have followed the tutorial for the Idle adjustment and they said that there is an idle adjustment screw on the ECU.

I have a series 2 R33 and i just checked my ecu and there isnt any adjustment screws?

According to this thread i have the correct ECU part number, just wanted to make sure.

I have uploaded a pic of the part number and ecu for your reference... Anyone with technical advice i would much appreciate it.

Thanks..post-32501-0-96646100-1404692871_thumb.jpg

Well....... it wouldnt be the idle screw on the ECU if it has one, which I dont think it should

Thought that was more a thing on RB30's and maybe RB20's. I dont remember my stock ECU ever having an idle screw, but that was a while ago

If your boosting over 7psi with stock ECU chances are its the famous R&R. The ECU assumes a problem because of the higher then normally expected airflow and it cuts the ECU in some cases (mine used to do this) In other cases it just adds a heap of fuel and timing and doesnt really cause higher boost to necessarily create significantly more power

I understand the idle screw isnt causing my problem, however the car does idle erratically every blue moon so i figured id chase two problems at once.

It seems as though i do have the right ECU.

As for the famous R&R, i will lower my boost settings and see how i go.

Cheers for the replies buddy
