Power Loss On Downshifts, Bouncing Idle And Slight Hesitation At Specific Rev Point -R34Gtt

Ok will try that out, now Im kinda getting why the ABS shouldnt work, because ABS and TCS rely on the same wheel sensors n I've broken that circuit by pulling the TCS fuse? Best be I remove that TCS butterfly and put that fuse back in

They literally have the same ECU as mentioned above.

I'd be checking ABS, mainly cause TC was your issue, and you didn't have (either!) TC light on. So maybe your ABS light is also mysteriously on.

Would have been interesting to see if this whole thread would have happened if the light bulbs were in the dash to begin with, hehe.

Leave the sensors and stuff connected, just remove the plate. When when you can confirm everything is working right, everything is where you need it to be, and you know what's going on with it all... then pull the light out :P

With all this talk of ABS, when I think of it there have been numerous instances during on/startup when all the lights go on, my ABS light takes 1-2,3 seconds longer to go out than the others. TCS/SLIP/HICAS lights never been on at all.

And weird that pulling fuse out doesnt trigger engine light, how would someone know if their fuse is blown n systems not working?

Does anyone know if its possible to just pull off the J Pipe (one that houses the stock BOV) and remove the TCS butterfly with the throttlebody still bolted on? I cant even see the bottom 2 throttlebody bolts with that ugly TCS motor in the way lol

Don't think you could. But you might as well try.

An extension and a socket gets the bottom 2 throttle body bolts very easily.

Took the f$$ker off and the TCS fuse back in- easy 30min job, no need to take off throttle body, just unscrew TCS butterfly from the front after taking off that annoying J pipe. So no TCS butterfly interrupting my performance now due to faulty TCS ECU/wheel sensor? and ABS system now re-enabled with the fuse back in.

The TCS butterfly centre stem has a slot through its middle as you can see, will this impact performance?

    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
