Washing Engine Bay

I want to clean my engine bay on a r34 25gt rb25de is it possible to use degreaser and give it a hose down or not ? If not what is best way to do so thanks

Yes thats fine just use a platic bag to cover afm / filter, and try not to get it into the valley cover or your plugs will get saturated and cause a miss fire until it dries out

Just use degreaser and a microfibre cloth. Not worth the risk

At the local car wash I've seen numerous cars pull in, pop the hood and just start spraying with the engine cleaner mode then water. You won't really cause any harm if you protect your filter, protect your coils and protect your alternator.

Ive tried the cloth and degreaser method, you'll need to dedicate alot of time. Also don't use the aerosol degreaser, use the stuff you need to dilute and put into a pump spray bottle.

I wash my engine bay the same way as myself: With a rag on a stick.
