Leaking Heater Core

CLEAN:RB

Hey peps.

On the passenger side under the dash of my r33 there is a leak of coolant on to the floor,

I'm guessing my heater core s...t itself.

Iv herd you can by pass it by joining the in and outlet heater hoses together.

Has any one done this in the past?

Any suggestions, tips on how to do so? Pipe size, material etc

Thanks

Use heater hose the same diameter as what it is. Normally 19 mm but could be 16.

Pop bonnet, look at car.

Buy hose.

Do it.

Then actually fix it correctly as it is a defect to not have hot air able to be blown onto windscreen. And you will get cold soon.

Thanks for the reply.. So you mean for rwc purposes because Iv never used the heater at all and was going to run without?

Sorry I'm not near the car at the mo but how do I connect them together? Is there a female piece to attach it on? Also if I make the loop would the hose link at all?

Ive not dont it on the RB, but find the inlet/outlet out of the back of the engine, and simply take one of the heater existing hoses where it attaches to the firewall and hook it up to the other inlet/outlet on the engine. No new materials required
