Mmm... i often think about how much time ive wasted on computer games.

They are good for entertainment, like an alternative to watching tv.

But i spose Skylines is as pointless as gaming. We do it because we enjoy it.

Depends when my family decides to organise their gathering, there is talk about meeting up in Sydney that weekend.
Hopefully they organise it for the weekend after but who knows.

I'm currently MG2 but haven't played on official matchmaking in a while, normally playing on faceit.
Recently came second at a ANU lan event and won $50 haha. We lost first place to a team full of scrubs and one pro player from team Qlimax.

At this stage we seem to have around 13 ppl interested (see below).

Could everyone that is coming along please post back to confirm?

Sorry if I've taken upon myself to assume some of the above are coming.....

Should make for a great day out. If you could also reply when confirming whether you want a BBQ, grab a bite somewhere along the way or nay that would be great so we can lock something in.

P.S. Don't listen to Rosie. It's going to piss down tonight and be clear for Sunday. I will be coming regardless of weather.

Cheers

Chris

Edited attendance for people who I know that are coming.

Attendance: Confirmed.

Food: whatever

I'm keen pending on sinus surgery recovery (op was last friday)

Although I've been on here a while I've never properly met most of you, probably because I'm such a youngin'

Not sure if the 34 is good to go, if not it would be great to tag as a ride along perhaps taking Chris up on his offer.

f**kEN LOOK WHO SHOWS HIS UGLY MUG ONCE MORE

Shorn off wheel nut stuck on the stud  , steering way off (bump steering like a mofo too), broken DHS window regulator, and a coolant leak that I still can't seem to pinpoint

Just planting the idea. How good does it look with your name on the list? :D you going to show us your new golf or just going to dodge for the rest of your days? :@

Probably dodge if things keep lining up with plans :P I'll try get out, but I'm headed out on the town Saturday night so who knows what time I'll even faceplant my bed, let alone emerge from the coma >.<

Yeah, Rob is going to drive my 32.

Brake pads replaced, good wheels on, interior trims fixed, vacuumed, and washed.

I just gave it a polish, it had lost a lot of gloss.

Wax tomorrow, and its ready to go.

You cant really predict the weather, even if its raining on this side of town it could be fine for the cruise.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
