SKY031
Everyone will tell you "don't do it"... but it's your car, do what you want A good reason for upgrading the GTS4 is the fact that GTRs are much more of a target when it comes to car theft. If it doesn't look like it has an RB26, it might be less of a target. JH32
Put the 26 in the gts4 Then when you toast a GTR he won't know what's hit him Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/45777-gtr-or-conversion/#findComment-931385 Share on other sites
predator
depends how much you paid for it? and how good the rest of the car is. ~$12k.. why not.. $16k or more.. stuff it you never know what condition the GTR engine that you are getting is really.. bit of a gamble. How much will a GTR halfcut set somebody back these days anyhow? not "off the shelf" .. more like "on a boat and wait" cost ?? pentae
Easy answer to the question.. You WILL sell this car at some point. When you do it will be a lot easier to sell a factory GTR than an gts4 w/ frontcut.
