i'm looking to do as much DIY as possible. I've done a dashboard reskin on a ford ranger, but never on a gtr. I'm looking for pre-cutout / vacuum pieces so i can rip off the old, and glue on the new myself.

Same with doors and other interior pieces too.

No i havnt, read lots about it and been thru build threads where they did it themselves, keen to do it but not at the top of my priorities right now.

might have to google it and have a read over the weekend

Received the gaiters boots. Actually, not bad at all. I'll be buying their dashboard cover. I just have to figure out what the strongest adhesive is I can use on the dashboard and leather material.

Those look good, can you provide some more information on where you got those? a link maybe?

Cheers

final result came up well.

i just ordered a new nissan gear shift boot from rhdjapan. they didnt have an original handbrake cover tho :(

i love that grex knob Velict. was on the hunt for one. ended up purchasing a nismo GT500 titanium lol

got pics of your knob mate? your GT500 that is!

Got a set of the Superior Auto Creative gear and brake boot in the CF-look style and a nismo duracon shifter.

Both took a little massaging and the gear boot needed to be folded to fit my shorter shifter, brake boot was easy.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
