chrisl09
H everyone, I'm new to this forum and have just bought my first Skyline/first Japanese car. Loving it so far and the difference between european cars of the same performance is startling. Certainly more bang for your buck with a Skyline! I have a CPV35 Coupe and have delved into the whole conversion of the factory system etc. That's on hold for now... But I am after some info on the possibly factory (?) aux cable found in the centre console. Any insight on what this is for, where I can get an adapter from etc. etc. and whether it is indeed connected at the other end. Once again any insight and info appreciated. nickcorr
Ah the good old Japanese mobile phone plug... Alas, no one has ever been able to sort them out, and make this work as an AV input... chrisl09
Oh.... ok! Thanks for that. Is this cable 'un-pluggable' and a more appropriate lead can be fitted to enable smartphones to be hooked up, or is the jack/software/connection not compatible? Thanks! Tommy Kaira RL
There is an aux in the boot where the tv tuner is. You can plug your phone into there. You will need the special nissan lead. It has the yellow, red & white RCA plugs on one end. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/459282-v35-skyline-aux-factory-cable/#findComment-7597598 Share on other sites
