Hi Guys

I'm new to the forum. I have a 2002 M35 250t.RX Could you help me with a electrical issue? The dashboard lights plus high beam plus indicator arrows have stopped working. I've checked all the fuses and can't find any blown. Any ideas please?

Deano

Water in the IPDM unit most likely, the unit behind the battery in the upsidedown case.

Pretty common for the battery compartment to flood with water and short the IPDM, the bung in the bottom gets blocked with crud, and when you go around a corner it sloshes all over the relay board and IPDM ecu.

Just pop the large bung out (under the battery tray) and it can never happen again. Should come good once it dries out, unless it blew a fuse on the IPDM board. I bet you didn't check those fuses...

Thanks guys i havent used the car for a couple months so the battery area was dry and i checcked all the fuses behind batteryall were ok .i did have a blown brake light fuse sometime ago which hapened when i attatched my trailer but i replaced it and the brake lighhts are working fine.Any more ideas please could it be a relay?cheer Deano
