Removing Rear Lamp R33

Ive searched for this without much luck.

Ive undone all the screws for my rear lamps. Tried to heat up the seals around it but the damn thing wont budge. Does anyone know how to do it?

There should be 5 bolts, undo all 5, then as you said, get a heat gun (or hair dryer) onto one side of the seal (we are talking about the seals from the inside of the boot, black goey stuff, it should be already kinda goey - not like silecon which goes rubbery/hard)... heat it up and keep pushing from the inside out, you will slowley start to feel it come loose, keep heating up bit by bit (start from the inside light)... also you will have to remove (or partially remove) the centre 'skyline plate' 2 bolts either side of it from the inside, no buemastic(sp?) holding it tho...

Oh ok thanks man. Yeah i done it. Broke off one of the five studs on the light . Its got as much silicon as Pamela Anderson so no water is gonna get in there

shouldn't of used silicon you'll never get it back out now if its still leaking or starts to leak again when the silicon drys/cracks

You should be using beumastic (sp?)... it will stay soft/guey etc...

yeah i think thats what i used. If it leaks im chucking that light in the bin and getting another one.
