Its happening again! SAU is attending Paddy's Night Food Market, but this time, we have a little twist (as suggested by you, our members!). In addition to going out for a bite to eat, SAU NSW will be hosting a Show n Shine, with The Cavalry Co. helping us out too!

As we did last time, we will be meeting out front of ANZ Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park at 5.00pm. This will give us the opportunity to chat and take a few photos. We will be departing from ANZ Stadium at 5.45pm.

From Sydney Olympic Park, we will turn left onto Parramatta Road (city-bound), then turn right at the Centenary Dr overpass towards the Austin Ave entrance to Paddy's Market.

Paddy's Night Food Market is held on the ground floor of their western multi-storey carpark at the Austin Ave entrance. We will have some of our committee already at the venue helping to direct everyone in. Entry into the show n shine will cost $5 per car, but in exchange, you'll score one of our new design SAU NSW Keychains =) Entrants will have their cars on display in a VIP parking section right next to the food trucks on ground floor, stealing everyone's attention =)

There are plenty of food trucks that will be on show to serve up a variety of cuisines from sizzling Asian dishes, designer European desserts to all-American burgers.

Spots in the show will be limited, so please make sure you let us know by commenting so we can keep track and ensure you have your spot secured! Please remember, Friday 6th October will be your last chance to let us know you want to enter the Show n Shine!

Don't miss out!

This is NOT a race and we will all be adhering to all road rules. If this is what you want please come to one of our many track days.

This is an official SAU:NSW event and will be run under a CAMS permit.

One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general.

When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to:

• Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly.
• Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should.
• Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAU:NSW and thus, treat others accordingly.

• Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

Thanks guys and hope to see you there!

  • 2 weeks later...
How late can we confirm we're coming? On the day? I may be able to come, might also bring my brother (MY15 WRX STi).

Confirming tomorrow is fine! =) And no problem with bringing your brother's car too!! The more, the merrier! =D

Was a great meet. I think my burger had more oil than my sump though.

Big Thanks to Sammi for organizing the event & everyone who made an appearance.

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
