Balancer crank trigger questions.

So im in the final stages of putting my gtr back together. I have the baby ati balancer the 600hp rated one that has air con on it. But i am told i should go crank trigger but every balancer i have seen does not support air con. only the 2 belts. Are there any options at all?

Look at the NZ Wiring cam trigger kits.  May provide the solution you require if it all gets difficult.

Crank trigger is the best solution to achieve consistent/accurate timing though.

the Platinum racing crank trigger kit (version 2) apparently works with the ATI 600hp balancer.

its a 12 tooth trigger wheel, but if you want a 36-1 or 60-2 you're going to have to go either the 600hp Ross kit or a custom bracket.

other option is use an MGT trigger kit

but it uses reluctor (VR) sensors and if you have an BNR34 the engine fan doesn't give enough clearance for it.

Ross Performance have a kit which allows the use of a 1000+hp triggered damper, without losing AC. Plus you can have the trigger wheel cut to whatever flavour you like.

an update here, JHH engines in brisbane are doing a trigger kit with a 1000hp ATI balancer using motec trigger wheels and sensors. 12 or 36-2 options.
