V36 Double Din Install

Car- 2006 v36 350 gt type sp 
Issue- Currently trying to install a new double din stereo and from what i understand the  mounting plate goes where the clock is and aircon buttons are but the issue im having is the mounting plate is just alittle too small (10mm either side)  the box says its for a g35 any ideas where i can get the right one would be great! searched everywhere!

There is no commercially available double din solution for the V36. The one I have seen with pictures floating about the internet is completely custom - and they had to move the climate controls completely (into the roof lining), which seems like a horrible idea.

FYI the 'G35' on the box means that the double din kit that you have is for a 'V35' (the V35 is called a G35 in America), not a V36, which, bizarrely, is called a G37 in America. They are completely different.

Thanks mate! Ive had a audio place have a look at it prior and now the unit says audio off is this an issue  is there a way to turn it back on ??

Sorry, no idea. I would suggest taking it to a place that regularly deals with imports.
