RB26 coils have a seal at base whereas the R8 coils seem to have it at the top?

How they compare are covered in the link above 'Tech' on coils'.

The R8 coils have an enclosed rubber stem where the spark plug's insulator stem seal on to. In comparison against 35R/RB's etc. the coil slips loosely onto the spark plug.

Again, it has been mickey mouse for many who have done the conversion world wide.
