Price $90,000

Description:

The following vehicle has just come into stock with a supplier in Japan for 5,130,000 yen FOB. The cost in Australia is estimated to be $90,000.

We have included the cost of shipping, import duties, GST, and our service fee in this estimate. Not included is the cost of compliance, tyres, Govt. stamp duty and registration (normal licensing costs for any vehicle). Compliance under SEVS would require the vehicle to be returned to factory condition, and would not be easy. This vehicle is therefore more suited to import as a race vehicle under a CAMS licence.

Vehicle history: This vehicle was built by the renowned Japanese tuning workshop Top Secret and has been used as a promo car for several years. It has spent very little time on the track as it has been used primarily for display purposes at motor shows, and has only been run at official racing events to prove the package. Everything is in perfect working order. This vehicle has had literally hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on it. One of the fastest and most well known Skylines in the world and a very rare find.

Performance: Has recorded a 9.6 second 1/4 mile on Yokohama 048 racing tyres. MAX POWER: 1000ps / 9000rpm. MAX TORQUE: 90kgm / 8000rpm.

haha, the guys at the compliance place would take one look at it and burst into tears laughing, then slap you for wasteing their time! They didnt include the cost of compliance because either a) you wouldnt get it, or B) it would cost your first born child!

yes, i am still cleaning the stains off my seat after seeing that one..

still $90k - bargain.. only twice the price of a good stock GTR really.. and well compared to a ferrari on the cheap side.. somebody will easily have the money to spend on something like that.

mate, if you have money.. compliance would not be a problem i am sure.. Even if it just sat in a showroom, or was used as a promo car for a well-to-do workshop I am sure it would pay for itself.

Hell you could charge *admittance* fees at $10 a pop to look at it, and you'd be making money off it..

it cound still be complianced under sevs but would need to be returned to stock... with that many mods you'll be waiting many months :) ... a better option would be to bribe it into the country...

But $90,000 for a 1000HP (750kw) skyline is very cheap... you will not find another that cheap thats for sure... if i had the $$$$ it would already be in my driveway ;)

Good idea. I think anyone who had a beast like that sitting there would wanna take it for a ride :)

lol... if someone had a car like that in a showroom all the time, it would be a waste of a 1000 HP car, this car needs to be on the road 24/7... i think you could make more money from street drags... imagine ripping every car on the street :flamed:

(not that anyone would, as street racing is illegal)

This car would be Race/Rally use, nothing else. Obviously not Rally. Therefore compliance wouldn't be a problem if it was Race use.

technically yes.. but like most things, those with money could get it into the country and on the road registered with the right connections. It happened many times in the past. Although being such a high profile car it might be difficult to get somebody to turn a "blind eye" I 'spose as questions would kind of be asked.

Returning it to stock would not be a problem if you had another stock GTR sitting there (of course if you could afford $90k you could probably afford another $40k to buy another GTR for the swap to get in on the road).. week or two to rip everything out, put it on the shelf, and swap in your GTR stock bits such as stock engine...compliance easy.. everything back in 2 weeks later, and 1000hp driving around on the streets and ripping it up in dandy :(

Why I have been thinking about this I don't know.. maybe just in case i win tattslotto :)

wonder if the NZ import rules are the same as here... maybe get it shipped there and go live there for a year and bring it back as a personal import  down side is obviously that u will have to live in NZ for a year lol

bit extreme tho to import a car i spose :(

hmm... also you could live in japan for a year, import it as a personal import and pay $500 for compliance (same rules as 15yr old apply then)

While your at it, import a dozen R34 GTR's as personal imports and save $10,000... sell them and make some nifty profit... but who has the money to buy a dozen R34's... not me unfortunately :(

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
