Hi,

I have been looking at threads on this site for years.

I have a black 1999 R34 GTT.

Current mods are,

Mamda GTX3071r, R35 gtr 560 Denso injectors, R35 card type AMF, walbro 255 fuel pump & direct feed,

Nistune daughter board, Blitz intercooler and boost controller.

Had it tuned on 100 octane 367 rwhp on 15.5 psi.

Look to get upgrade ideas

Here is a pic.

Nice ride mate. Welcome. Look at the rb25 dyno thread for info. about different setups for ideas. First things I would do is upgrade the turbo, larger injectors and e85 if I were in your shoes. You have the rest of the supporting mods, I'd then focus on better brakes and handling.

Thanks, I have been looking at that thread. Its unopened so I was thinking head studs, head gasket and more boost. I have BC coilovers, slotted rotors and stainless braded brake lines.

I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
    • Looks great, I hope everything is working well after all that time!
