Bunch of soccer mums :D

aaaah!!....but soccer mums with STYLE

did I say I was selling??? I must have been having a bad hair day.

I just swapped my bonnet pins for recessed Ford XA ones, closed off the top and sides to the radiator. Will sheet in the bottom tomorrow. Hmmm! what's next on the list?

Selling??? I just bought another one so it won't be lonely at night :headspin:

Damn you Jay,

you said you were selling the fourdoor and transferring evrything to the coupe :P

:P

Sorry Nex, I did actually say that, I think I had one of my rare moments of sanity and thought I couldn't justify having 2 Skylines.

Fortunately my normal state of mind quickly returned and I realised I don't have to justify it. Anyway the white car only has 2 doors so the track is all it's good for  and jlnewton will need someone to wave to without slumming.....so the 4 door STAYS. :D

Andrew how can you make a comment like that when you list a CHICK's car (KA Laser) as your ride. Won't your mum let you drive a real car ???

I dont reckon you'll be able to find a chiq who actually wants to drive brutis :)

Possibly you refer to a standard (and, well, working?) KA :S

Anyway, I've got a sports car. Its got 2 doors. :)

Hey, soccer mums Aust. pfftttt. lol

The sedan is starting to look the goods with bilstein shocks, king springs, dba slotted 4000 rotors and R33 GTR rims. certainly no soccer mum car. hehe. Currently doing the stereo, respray and tint. Should be sweet as then.

    • Ended up just being a loose exhaust bolt luckily.
    • Yeah I made that post way too early, sorry I must have assumed it was bad because it's a 20+ year old thrashed shitbox lol. It was just a loose exhaust bolt.
    • Like others have said, drop the power to give your drivetrain a % of reliability until you can up the drivetrain reliability  It isn't rocket science, build power to the weakest link with a % of safety Whilst upping the the reliability of the drive train is costly, there's no point in having the engine make big power if it keeps eating the drivetrain....ask me how I know, I had the tow truck on speed dial for a few years, and I spent huge amounts of money fixing issues and breakages that really would have been cheaper in the long run if I did it right the first time Me, I like a nice sized fudge factor, that keeps me off the tow truck
    • I don't understand what the issue is with, turn the boost down and start saving $$.  As soon as you can afford the supporting mods, turn the boost back up.  If the car is running fine, enjoy it. Turning the boost down isn't going to kill you.
