Hi guys

Some knob has stolen parts from my Gtr, and was nice enough to cut the wiring out rather than unplug things.

Can some kind soul out there please take a good photo of the plug for the drivers side power window plug (blue one) so I can see which wire should go where?

They also cut out the A/c controls but I haven't found a replacement yet.

Any help appreciated

Thanks Duncan, that would be awesome.

I think AC plugs are black with maybe 10 tiny pins each, I have pulled apart an old silvia loom for the plugs for drivers side controls but I need to match the colours ideally. I have been trolling for sale items etc and have found the mirror control plug wiring as attached but no clear shot of the windows part.

Edit: I have found a photo of the AC plugs, they are the black ones high up in this pic.

OK, so this is the DS power window plug (both sides)

This is the page from the wiring diagram with wire colours

Also, if you are looking for the I have the AC plugs and don't need them, it was easiest to just cut the plugs in the car  I stole them from (or maybe just because racecar)

Turns out the photo from online for the mirror switch was NOT the mirror switch plug, just a random that fit. I am still chasing the wire colours for that plug but my windows are working again. Thanks Duncan!

And how did you find such a good copy of the diagrams?

Sorry, I can't help this time, my car is at the shop having the tree shaped hole removed from the rear quarter panel....

Re the diagrams, I actually have something rarer than rocking horse poo, an original printed copy of the australian workshop manual.  The scan that is floating around online is super useful 99% of the time but the detail in the wiring pages aren't really legible so I dust off those pages when required. One day I'll work out how to get high res scans of the pages...

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
