JarrettL
Does anyone here have any picture examples of locations on the firewall they've run a circular bulkhead connector like the Corsair/Amphenol units commonly referred to as "milspec", or Deutsch AS connectors? After looking around a few times, it seems like all of the good space is right behind the ABS module, but with no room to connect and disconnect them as it's pretty tight? Anyone have any other ideas on a car that will retain AC and heat? Shoota_77
I’ve only just got my 2 connectors (47 pin deutsch) so haven’t done it yet but my plan is to replace the factory grommet with one and putting another one just below the brake booster on the drivers side. I’m running drive by wire so will need extra wiring in that area so makes sense to relocate some of the wiring across that side at the same time. My aim is to have no wiring across the back of the firewall at all (would like to take coil wiring across to drivers side loom as well) but we’ll see what happens…. Duncan
which car, your profile and post don't state? I've added a grommet and wiring through for brake pressure sensor next to the ABS which is a similar size to most of those circular connectors in my 32 gtr Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/483155-mil-spec-autosport-circular-connector-location-on-firewall/#findComment-7959244 Share on other sites
JarrettL
I'm on mobile now, so I can't see my profile. I thought I had it on there, but if I don't it's an ENR34. Looking to run 3 circular connectors. I was thinking someone may have utilized some space on the lower portion of the firewall that's not incredibly obvious from above. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/483155-mil-spec-autosport-circular-connector-location-on-firewall/#findComment-7959254 Share on other sites
