Stuck with R33 Heater box reinstall

Hey guys, I'm reinstalling the heater box, evap and fan box after purchasing my 33 a year ago without any of them. 

I've gotten them all in and plugged everything in however there's one plug that I can't seem to find. It should be pretty obvious, it's circled in red in one of the images I found off google, but my car doesn't have it. Just wondering if anyone's cone across the same issue, or if anyone can help me with the wiring needed to get it going. I've removed the tape around my harness just to ensure it hasn't been cut and removed but haven't seen any signs.

I'd like to get it all plugged in before I put the dash back in, Thanks!

What does the black box that it plugs into do, looks like some sort of actuator?

There are english r33 wiring diagrams somewhere, because I've seen excerpts from them posted. If you can find them and a likely name for that box you are on your way..

This issue could be something optional that your donor air con unit has, but your car's loom did not

Do you have the associated wiring on the back of your AC/heater climate control unit? Hopefully you do and you can trace the wires from there.

I've also attached the R33 wiring diagram.

I need to replace mine come to think of it, I hear it whirring away all the time instead of properly opening/closing the door.

Well that diagram answers the "what is it question" on p11 but I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be on the car loom, as all of them would have a recirc/outside air option (even if AC was optional)

And the wires just connect to terminals 11 and 12 on the head unit so you can check if there is anything at those pins in your setup

Should not be too hard to wire in if you are missing them, but it seems a bit strange.

Does you car have AC?

This is perfect! I'm just going to hard wire it in since I've already stripped back some of the loom and can't seem to find it. 

I've peeled back the loom far enough to tell if there's been any cut wires but it seems as though they don't exist!

The car has been resprayed and the entire hvac system was removed, so I doubt this is a matter of factory optioning.

 

Ill test the plug and post an update!

      Thanks both. All good advice. Reminds me of drilling through stone wall for drainage pipe 😬 I'll let you know how I get on if I still have use of my hands afterwards 😅

      Finally got shipping number for the intake and throttle body, shipped by UPS, so "should" be in my hands sometime next week, fingers fracking crossed

      Each to their own I guess  Me, I put just as much time into cleaning inside of the cars as I do on the outside As for getting wet, it is really no different than steam cleaning the carpets at home, apart from the cars carpet dries alot faster than the house, again, I only do it in the hotter months and leave the car opened up for a few hours As I only do it yearly, it is just before I do the diff and gearbox service, so I clean the carpets, then it's up on stands, wheels off, service, clean the undercarriage,  grease the bushings and do a nut and bolt check on everything  Disclaimer: I typically had all the time in the world to kill when I was working 🤣, so spending a full day or 2 cleaning, serving and "looking at stuff" was,  easily achievable, and a fun mental therapy day As for time to kill, I retired last Wednesday, so apart from my physical training, my days are filled with lots of random jobs around the house and garden...."Idle hands are the Devils something something" I am also buying a new house sooner rather than later, I'm actually looking at a potential property tomorrow, I'm looking forward to getting a car hoist as I'm starting to get to old to crawl around under a car, I can only imagine all the undercarriage cleaning and looking at stuff when that gets set up

      Yeah, I'm not interested in wetting the carpets, and I don't care about brown dirt/dust that lives deep in the pile or underneath. It's not like I crawl around on them in my birthday suit or eat dropped food off them (because there is never any open food in my car). The seats are alcantara (cheap Chinese imitation alcantara, to be sure!) with barely 1" of foam pad behind the surface. That's not getting wet either. Any car that I would be happy to get the interior wet, I would not care to put the effort into.
