I have driven a 350z and and an r34 gtr. The 350z does not impress anyone more, trust me.

My point is, why do Jap car manufactureres make european styled cars to have to sell more cars? I thought they where all ready doing pretty good making jap styled cars.

Not trying to be smart with this question but what defines a Jap-styled car (as opposed to Euro styled)?

I think the styling of cars went downhill after the KA laser. I mean whats with the KB? Those front lights just look all soft, as if the owner is a little old lady using a cheap, economical shopping trolley of a car to get the milk and bread from the corner store instead of the sporty, high performance car the KA was.

I'll agree the supras are looking a little dated, but I dont think very many cars look good from factory ... Add a mild bodykit, some lowering and a set of nice wheels and the supra is very tops. More so than most cars with the same mods I guess is what I'm trying to say. Urgh, personal taste I guess.

Also the new minis are damn fat (not phat) compared to the old minis. I saw one parked next to an old mini about a week ago and you dont realise just how huge the new minis are until you see them next to an old mini. Like literally double the size (note: hyperbole).

Anyway, even I dont know what point I was trying to make when I started typing this.

supra may be looking a little dated, it still manages to turn so many heads though. They still look a helluva lot better than a lot of cars on the road that you see everyday.

The KA laser was the end of the ultra high performance laser range. They went mainstream with the KB. Nothing beats the pushed-into-the-back-of-your-seat demon acceleration of the KA, dont even get me started on the torque of those cars.............. lol ;)

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
