Thread deleting

How can I delete a thread nowdays. One I started obviously.

I just went into the wasteland and started a thread.

Clicked edit, and the buttons were there.

I assume that you went to the first post in the thread to try and remove it?

(Even if you started the thread, you can't remove it by editing the 5th or 6th post)

To delete this message, check the appropriate option below and then click the 'Delete this Message' button.

Note: deleting this message will result in the deletion of the entire thread because this is the first post in the thread.

If you start a thread you generally can delete it.

Same with individual posts.

Have gone to the origonal post about five times and cant find anything to do with a delete option. I have done it in the past however thought it may have been taken away with the revamped site.

OK, i just went and tried again.

I started a thread in the SA section.

I have no modertor access in this section, so in theory, this section should look exactly the same to both of us.

Check out the picture below, and tell me if you see the same thing.

In that case, I GUESS YOU'RE SCREWED!

nah... if you want a thread removed, just hit the 'report post' button, and type something to the effect of "i would like this thread deleted now" and submit it.
