[QWAK]

just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere to go to get a alarm/immoboliser installed. Hopefully buying a R33 this week and will need some security for it.

have read a lot of positive feed back from viper series and was thinking of combining it with somethine like the Autolock steering wheel lock.

Any advice is much appreciatied

1 - i have a mate who does them PM if u want his number.

2 - if you do a search on this topic (in this section) you'll come up with about 20 threads as it comes up every second week on average

Talk to danny from autotrust, he used to work for one of the distributers for viper and installed em regularly, he's also a genius when it comes to auto electrics. He might still be able to get you viper alarms at mates rates too... dunno.

He's done almost half of the VIC SAU guys alarms I reckon

i've had people say putting a steering lock on your car is inviting trouble. makes it look like it aint alarmed.

also saw some nice photos of club lock or similar lodged in some guys eye socket at driver dynamics course =p

if you go skitz, quiktrak would be nice, but they are very expensive; and last i heard they were in receivership or something bad. just car also adjust theft excess if your car gets nicked.

ive still got a bog standard alarm at the moment.

Anyone know where i could pick up an Autolok 2000. could be usefull as a deterent aswell as alarm and immobiliser
