My friends white sII r33 was stolen from chaddy car park last week, was found but he has about 7 grand damage to the car. His stereo system is gone and a lot of damage done to the interior and the doors.

Those farkers at chaddy are obviously targeting skylines as this is not the first time a skyline has been stolen from there. Maybe we need to do a stakeout and find the little farkers and teach them a lesson.:D

Just a warning to those who park there.

I personally think the trolley boys (try not to point fingers) from the car parks may have something to do with the increase of thief it may be a mates mate involvement, don’t know but it seems to have happened more often in the Coles car park than some of the others around Chadstone. Some of my mates in their skylines have had thief’s and break inns over the past 6 months.

anyone want to donate their car to the cause? :P

we'll get a crew together and wait til they try and brake into it... then smash their knee caps with baseball bats and tell them to pass it on haha

I think the Coles carpark gets more attention, because the all the bus stops are in between Coles and the carpark.

You always see deros waiting for buses and they get a front row seat watching all the cars come in. They probably don't even catch buses, but use it for window shopping and to look inconspicuous. Theres HEAPS better places to park than that crappy location. :dump:

why anyone would leave an obviously modded car in a car-park like that is beyond me.

further more, leaving it there without an adequate alarm system too.

fork out and get tracking for it. Mine will be once it actually drives :P

best security, and piece of mind money can buy

bah... the best security is this: replace your airbag with a 12 Gauge Shotgun and wire it to your alarm... if someone starts the car without the key then they will have a point blank problem... cleaning afterwards would be a bitch though.

Back on topic, i think the stakeout would be a good idea, just leave a highly modified line in the parking lot and wait. When the kunts show up we can get a dozen SAU members to totally freak them out and possibly break some legs :P ...

I've had my car for 2 years and it has only been at a shopping centre once and then I had someone waiting in it on guard

this was the exact thing that went thru my mind when i found out his car had been stolen!! I guess my young friend will learn the hard way. He had been spending money on mods while the car security was ignored.

yeah i have worked at chaddy for the last year or so, see quite a few skylines parked there on a regular basis...thou i don't park at the coles entrance. On another note about 8 people from my work have had thier cars keyed within the last few months which goes to show the security at chaddy needs improving, ie cameras on all the car parks.

i'm up for the stake out!!!!! :uzi: :boinkcar:

Send me a PM when you guys are going to doing this; I got a whole group of angry skyline owners that will come down to pound the crap outta these mugs.

    • The wiring diagram for the R33 RB25 is freely available, and is essentially the same same as most other RBs (just with differences as to which pin # does which job). To get the ECU to power up, you just need to provide power to the ECCS relay, and have the other power feeds that come in from the top left of the wiring diagram (wrt the ECU) that give perma power to the fuel pump relay, the ECU itself, etc etc, all connected. When you put power on all these it will just come to life. It's pretty clear from the diagram what needs to happen. Just follow the lines from the 12V + supply stuff in the top left over towards the ECU. I've even posted snips of such diagrams (not for vanilla 25, I think for Neo and 26) to various threads here in the last few months, talking about what it takes to get the fuel pump and FPCM up and going. Search these up and they will help get you started on doing the same with the vanilla 25 diagram. Hell, for all I know, I've done the same with that one in years past and have forgotten.
    • Yep...so unless someone posts up the answer you will need to probe from the ECU connector to the dash plug with a multi meter in continuity mode to trace the wires.  Note the ECU has multiple - and + (and across different key settings - Battery, IGN and Start) and most likely the power is fed from the connector(s) that is normally near the left hand headlight.
    • Thanks Duncan, I am actually just trying to get the Rb turning and running with the RB25DET S2 original loom itself  I am just trying to get it going outside the body and not thinking about the S15 or trying to match anything to the S15 loom at all I am only trying to see if anyone has done this and what pin they found to be the ignition trigger and ECU+/- on the dash connector, that's about it. Thanks
    • Hi Guys, Does anyone know any aftermarket part numbers for a starter motor to suit the VQ25DET? I can find lots of alternative part number for the VQ35DE, which I assume would fit, but there is a lot of conflicting information out there. Thanks..
    • I don't understand how this hasn't boiled down to - Upgrade the turbo when you have everything required. ECU, injectors, fuel pump, turbo, etc. Do it all at once.  If you don't have everything required, just enjoy the car as it is and keep saving up your pennies.
