Yeah, shan said that Masa make a kit for the R34 the same as East Bear, meaning don't have to change the guards, just the bonnet. He thought the price was a little cheaper, but wasn't sure.

So i've been trying to find out where this R34 kit is?

We'll give him a bit to reply, but yeah, might have to get that number some time as i'm gonna go for the kit, but whether it's East Bear or this mysterious Masa one, or even genuine Nissan parts, i can't really decided until i have all the info on each one.

cheers Ni.

grrr

hold on I'll get it for ya, keep ya panties on...

me n gareth spoke about it and we figured out it'd cost less for you tog et is custom done using stock parts rather than buying and shipping the kit.

hahaha, the shan meister! :D

so get Troy to custom it up for me? I have no idea of the extra shipping costs, that's what i was trying to get off Gareth. East Bear have prices up now, bout 103,00 yen i think but that's just parts. I don't know how much to add for getting the stuff to my doorstep. Also gotta factor in the custom "making" costs. I know there was a rear bar here in melb (genuine Nissan) for $700, and about the same for the front bar as well. Don't know if it's still available though. So yeah, something to compare the import price too...

cheers.

here you go dude, it wasn't masa motorsports (you musta been goin insane tryin to find it on their website.)

Its actually made by cross factory... the guys that make the R32 4 door GTR kit.

http://www.cross-factory.com/R34pc.htm

Front bumper (only for GT-R bonnets) 60,900 yen

Front lip spoiler 25,200 yen

Above 2 combined - 75,600 yen

Side skirt - 50,400 yen

Front fender - 52,500 yen

Rear fender - 67,200 yen

Mud guards - 31,500 yen

Rear bumper - Unknown

Its 30cm wider than a GTR though.

ahhhhhh no wonder we couldn't find it!! i tried everything, images searches, etc.

Damn that kit is PHAT!!! As cool as that would be, i think we are heading a bit out of the old price range. And a GT-T having phatter guards than a GTR?? I dunno bout that one :(

Thanks dude for the info, i thought it was the same thing as East Bear. No guard changes, just narrower front/rear bumpers. But the above kit goes phatter than a GTR, nice! ;)

Hmmm. so back to East Bear or genuine parts....

the East Bear front bar/lip, etc costs 103,000 yen. Just parts. What's a rough idea on how much to add to that price to get it here? If it came in a container?

thanks again shan... oh did Gareth say anything bout when the next container is gonna go?

cheers

oh so there is another coming? or you've just bought some stuff to put on the next one??? Gareth hasn't said anything. If there is, i'll get some factory GTR parts put on it!! and some LM-GT4's as well! :(

there has to be eventually. which agent we'll use is a differentmatter. We're trialling a new one right now with small parts, to see how he goes. Our old agent sucked ass. He put an 180sx into the container instead of a maxima which was to be used for parts.

But yeah, there'll be one eventually. Just dunno when right now. Think G's still chasing up people for money for parts from the last one.

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
