Wade sorry to say but I dont think that is a true result.

Your mods are exactly the same as mine apart from a full exhaust which I had with a split dump, highest flowing cat around and 3inch catback and I only made 160awkw.

Maybe it was an optimistic dyno? Sorry I dont beleive you, but please post a dyno graph.

Hello People,

I will arrange to get the dyno image scanned...

For now I can tell you the following:

In 3rd gear on APC's 4WD Dyno: 1st August, 2006! (RECENT ENOUGH)

75kw @ 2400 95kp/h

100kw @ 3200 115kp/h

125kw @ 4000 135kp/h

150kw @ 4800 150kp/h

175kw @ 5600 160kp/h

200kw @ 6400 180kp/h

203.8kw@6600 190kp/h :sorcerer:

I promise you guys this is not bullshit! I watched them do every run

as they were tuning in my e-booost boost contoller...

They also put new platinum spark plugs in before the run.

Anyways I will post actual dyno sheet the moment I have the scanned file

Till then...thanks for the kind words to those happy for my result!

Maybe just maybe reading my mods and results might save some people some money!

I have had 200sx/ Supra/ R32 Skyline all 12sec-13sec cars

I feel as though the Stagea is feeling like a 13-14sec car

I also have owned many motorbikes my current ZX10R :ninja: has 165hp @ back wheel

and easy 10'S...

I do have half a clue guys...my 32 years on this planet helps!

Wade

Also...

I did ask about whether or not I would see much improvement over the 203awkw if I added

a z32 AFM, the guys said the tunability wouldn't be as good and the power would not increase that much

the best way to go would be an aftermarket ecu and ditch the AFM altogether!

But going an aftermarket will never be as good as factory for smooth running...

Also the power getting up to 250-300awkw will mean bigger injectors

tougher transmission, maybe forged pistonbs etc..

200 - 220kw is a good figure! I think car is much better to drive also, lopes along like a V8 now!

Here is a little camparo:

Stagea 1650kg 320-330kw at the flywheel 17k + 3k = 20k+

911 Turbo 4x4 1650kg 310kw @ the flywheel 200k+

Cayenne Turbo 2400kg 330kw @ the flywheel 200k+

I have leather, ABS, Airbags, Sunroofs, Climate contol etc

This is truly a great car with alot of bang for your buck!

Cheers,

Wade

great work wade, just want to mention that an aftermarket ecu will be able to run exactly like a factory car if the tuner knows what he is doing, and u choose the right ecu. im not sure if your auto or manual. manual is easy as u can use any ecu, auto is rather tricky though.

cheers

Thanks guys! I wouldn't mind fattening up the midrange power a little more...

Do you think looking at my dyno results that an SAFC would help me get some

more midrange and maybe even a little more top end power?

Once the boost gets past about 12 psi the car really takes on a different personality

it feels really quick above 4500rpm and 12psi+ boost I have seen 16.5psi

on my e-boost peak hold function.

There really is no difference between power made between 7psi setting and 14psi

setting before 4500rpm (approx). (Maybe an SAFC might help with this too?)

* Although it isn't such a bad thing not making huge power down low (petrol$$$)!

I will try to find out what if anything has been done to my ecu, as far as I can see

it is all stock and I can definately assure you the previous info re: my mods is

100% correct!

I don't have a chart with AFR's I will see if the guys can get me one though...

In the meantime I can tell you taht AFR's were pretty much between 11 and 12

The guys were telling me the car is running 'SAFE' as!

Go champ!!... so your Stagea actually feels quick? :D cant wait to get the rest of my mods fitted and tuned :( ...did you install your eboost? and where did you mount it ..i need to fit mine this weekend but its so damn big i dunno where to mount it and still keep the factory look interior

Top of steering column of-set to the left, you can still see speedo needle

all your gear lights and tach, plus all warning lights, turn your ignition as far as you

can without starting car that way you can see all warning lights and position

accordingly...

Mount the solenoid near the factory one I guess easier with hoses etc..

*You might want to locate it to be a bit more stealth, just make sure all hoses

are on tight!

wade if the afr's look good then a SAFC won't help much.

although if the afr's look good at that level of flow it is surprising the factory ecu didn't go much fatter.

if the car went thru 180kph to 190kph does that imply the ECU speed limiter has been tampered with and possibly the ecu is not standard?

203awkw should keep you happy.

Still not sure about the ecu?

With regard to speed...maybe the extra speed is just momentum

but, like you say if it isn't maybe that is confirmation my car has been chipped...?

The car was totally stock when I bought it but maybe it just appeared that

way because they put all standard parts back on for ADR's...

I am certainly happy with my current result, just wouldn't mind a little more

fine tuning to beef up that midrange between 4500rpm -5500rpm

basically I would like to reverse the hump and make it a bump! Ha!

Do you think an SAFC would be capable? (Relatively low cost mod.)

Top of steering column of-set to the left, you can still see speedo needle

all your gear lights and tach, plus all warning lights, turn your ignition as far as you

can without starting car that way you can see all warning lights and position

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
