Has anyone here dealt with a company in Sydney called “TOO FAST 2 FURIOUS Performance”? They are based in Sydney and apparently they are the cheapest distributor of brand new turbos and performance parts in Australia.

The are advertising a Hybrid T3/T4 turbo for $800 and stuff like T70 650hp turbos for $1000. I am looking at buying quite a bit of performance gear from them; does anyone know how legit they are?

NO web site!

Hybrid T3/T4 550hp Wet Floating Ball Bearing Turbo – Stage 3 for Skyline. Compressor Wheel .57T Housing .50 A/R. Turbine Housing .63 A/R.

I am not advertising there shit! I just want to know if anyone here has dealt with them before….

they sound like one guy pretending to be a business... ie Pacific Internet personal email address, and just watch out that the turbs aren't the same chinese made ones that people sell on ebay for stupid prices that stop working in stupidly short amounts of time.

Yep, if anyone saw the posts in the FI forum about the hybrid turbos I posted a few weeks ago it was from these guys.

It looks like they do post their stuff on EBay too- I can't find the link at the moment but I'll post it when I do.

I've been told that you'll need to modify the dump pipe slightly to bolt up to the turbo flanges.

I sent them an email regarding lag on a RB25 and this was their response:

"Our Stage 3 T3/T4 .50 .63 with our 40Mm racing W.G makes the turbo boost comes around 2700 - 3000 rpm mark.

This setup @ 12 psi gives 200Hp gain at the wheel on RB25DET - turbocharger is set for early boost."

The deal sounds OK, I've talked to them several times now - I'm just a bit skeptical about the lag claims at the moment..

Yeah at this stage I don’t really car if it comes on at 2700 RPM or 3700 RPM, just want to know if they are the real deal. Too many shit hi-flowed turbos never see over 10,000k’s and I wasted $2000 on one once after it was highly recommended to me through people I trusted. At this stage a new HKS 25/35 seems like the safest option at $2000!

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
