howdy all,

If there is a very kind, generous, giving, R34 GTR member out there who could possibly measure their rear spoiler for me that would be the coolest! ;) I have a measurement of a copy spoiler from the base of the spoiler pillar to the top (so not the actually wing bit, just the struts/supports) but to me this copy wing looks taller. And the standard GTR is tall enough as it is, just need to know if the pillar/support/strut thing is the same height as the original.

cheers! :)

sewid, that would be awesome!! i've got a measurement of about 22.75cm's from the base of the strut to the top of the strut. I have a feeling you will get a shorter height, but i guess we'll see.

thanks mate, you're a champ :P

Ok sorry I didnt get to post on the weekend as I was not near an internet connection. The spoiler is nowhere near 27cm high and the strut is about 15cm max.

I have still to get proper measurements and i will do that this week.

any luck dude? here's the ones i thought were right, but when looking at them properly, i realised there was a problem :(

height of the struts was apparently, 9" which seems to be about 22.75cm's. Not quite 27cm :)

cheers

EDIT: there maybe an option of modifying the above wing, so if know what the proper height is, that would be great :D

not a problem, you're doing me a favour, can't argue with that :D

Not regoed hey? neither's mine, altho it's not an hours drive way, it's like a 9 hour drive away :D So has it all be complianced? You must be itching to give her a good drive :D

thanks for the help :D

chinny

Yeah I feel your pain.

Compliance only took 2 days, waiting for DOTARS to approve the plate was painful and took 10 days all up. I can't complain though as that's how long they say it will take. The plate is going on the car today so I can get regoed.

The only issue might be RTA inspection if they want it. Sydneykid says they're inspecting all SEVS imports so its highly probable.

    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
