picture scanning groceries everyday and not buying a damn thing for almost a year and hustling anything and anyway you can (cos a Gee can't live on the minimal wage dunn) to buy a car. check new thread!

So out of interest, are you guys just good savers? Or does the Devil own your bodys?

I'm a bad saver. I always borrowed money. I'm currently servicing 4 debts and so yes I will dance for a dollar. I used to work for myself and could probably have paid everything off but I decided to get a 9-5 doin the 'career' thing. Now I'm ok but yeah it'd be nice to be debt free (lottery ticket here we come).

(cos a Gee can't live on the minimal wage dunn)

lmao.

Looking to have this one for a long time well after i've paid off a house anyway

i say that to myself (and parents) every time i get a new car, and no more than 12 months later.....

henry: "mum the car's having problems, it's not safe, i need another one"

mum: "if it's not safe then get rid of it"

henry: "thanks ma. i love you :)"

i'll see about the tail lights when it get's here ;)....the more i look at it the more im starting to like it...sorry about the seats john...sold now(i hope)

ceffo, you've got the best looking cef out of john and i, so yes you can come in for some sandwich action :/ (im keeping the lights john:D

i got about 450km to a full tank in my stock RB20DET auto. with a bit of heavy footedness.

Man I love the ceffy... the DUET-SS system in mine makes it soooo easy to control the car when the back slides out (and still have fun)... so much easier than the HICAS in my R32.

Auto systems funky as too, like you hold the throttle in a lil it drives normally... push it in a lil more and it sqats down (thanks Tien adjustable dampners and Duet-SS) and gives a lil push, push it to the floor and hold it there and it goes like a bitch on heat. Gonna regret having to give it to my dad.

Being a black ceffy it looks all pimp too with all that chrome n shit.

Brian it depends what engine/what tune etc you're running. But I imagine stock it wouldn't do too badly.

Currently mines anywhere from 10-15litres/100kmh I've been trying to take it easy. I'm sure on a track I could get it to 15-25l/km :(

Then again can't compare mine it's got a different engine.

My flatmate's r32 (stock) which is really more accurate since it's the engine a stock cefiro has in it will do 400km a tank or thereabouts I believe leaving him with about 12l/km or thereabouts (again - realy depends on how you drive).

I love my late model tail lights :) Me and Pimpin make the south perth posse look good with those bad boys. Oh not forgetting clear front indicators oooo yeah .... rice rice baby!

JK

:werd:

its funny how they are so few Cefiros running around that jaik and I live all of 2kms apart and our cars are exactly the same colour... i hope i dont get blamed for his hooning :D

:P

    • Before starting any work, we attempted to adjust the tune. However even after adjusting it to certain extremes like completely stopping fuel, it had no effect. What fixed it was removing the Nistune Board and installing the original EPROM instead. This immediately fixed the issue. Everything should have been fine with the Nistune Board installation, so I am unsure why it has caused a problem. The soldered connector is also properly soldered. This worked when I first got the 550cc injectors, before cleaning, but that may have been a coincidence.  We ended up not installing the fuel pump hanger (at least for now). So currently running stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock fuel pump hanger – Well everything stock except the exhaust. Now I have around €1400 in Nistune, Injectors, and Hanger collecting dust for the time being, perhaps I'll install them in the future. For now I'll enjoy the car as is 😁 Thanks a lot for all your assistance, I really appreciate all the help you have given me.
    • The turbo can’t be the issue. They’re proven to make much much power than you’re making. There is something in the setup that isn’t correct. - has the exhaust got any silly step downs? - what exhaust manifold?
    • Ok, just the way you wrote it made it look like you had the stagger the wrong way around
    • I was getting anxious with the DVLA not knowing if the paperwork is fine or not, so I rang them. No update had been given, but I  was reassured that providing the box was ticked on the V750 then the application will go through fine. I've been checking the DVLA website pretty much every day, in the hope that it would have been done. Fast forward to Monday 29th  and I was greeted with a new screen on the check, and it finally showed as Taxed and MOT'd, woohoo! The car was in desperate need of a clean, not knowing when this day was coming it was put off. As far as I was concerned I had another 3 weeks  I'm not normally one for using snow foam, but I wanted to give it another try It hasn't cleaned up too bad considering it's 21 years old and lived on a boat for a number of weeks. The personalised number plate is J2 XBK, an illegally spaced number plate would have it read J2X BK. BK could either represent  the colour black or Baker, which is my surname. I filmed the first drive, the Youtube link will be at the end. I used the same driving route I did with the 323F V6 when I had a new exhaust installed, heres a couple of photos A few more since then Youtube video can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjkFHPzjGDw
