man that red barron mission is ball breaker.

i always run out of fuel.

i clocked the main story line tho.

its awsome game.

i love it how the other characters appear in this game.

also how many other gf's do u get?

i go bleck chick, casino girl and country one?

is there more? o_O

Hey guys. I would HIGHLY recomend buy the official guide for this game. It's fu(king awesome! It tells you EVERYTHING!

There are 5 or so girlfriends

You'll meet one at the country club on the second island, she's doing ti-chi on the edge of the golf course closest to the road and city

There is another at the driving school, can't miss her.

Thing is that diff girls like diff type of guy and they are also only there at particular times

You won't realise how big this game really is untill you buy the guide, my Mrs picked me up one and it's awesome!

Hey,

The Red Baron mission this must be the zero strand... bastard mission ever played since one of GTA3 missions i hate...

There's 6 Girlfriends, Gf no1- Gang Girl (in mission strand), Gf no2- Mechanic (Driving Skool), Gf3- NRA Nut (next to Ammunation), Gf no4- Cop (in Desert), Gf no5- Nurse (in country club) and Gf no6- Caligula's Courier (in mission strand).

Anyone done flying skool? i'm stuck with some flying circle or something like that i kept crashing into water and wasted life...

Cheers

Grant

btw... whats the deal with the whole America vs Australia thing they have going on?? :)

u know those adds about how America went to war against australia and stuff?? hahah man they crack me up.

go in the ammunation and just wait and listen to the radio in the background.

"... the actual guns that we used to f**k australia in the ass!!!"

lol

that was in vice city as well, if they did fight us we'd be dead in 5 seconds so me thinks its a bad joke,

anyone notice the guy in vice city on the radio, who was suppose to be steve erwin?

i thought there were 7 girls. cant be bothered thinking up the all...

i fininshed the storyline in 54 hrs. thats with alot of mindless driving in the country hills, has anyone else finished it yet?

still got all the sub stuff too, like valet, quarry, street racing, trucking, stadium racing, taxi, police, fire, train, pimp, plus keeping all the territories in the grove control. this will last me a while...

if your up to where im am (or at the landing strip) heres something fun. get in a plane off the strip ( the hydra works best, but the old ww2 plane is fine) and fly over the area 47 place. you immedialely get 5 stars. your fine until you einter get shot down or land.

trying to land on the military airstrip and nicking off in a tank is also enjoyable. you can't be touched, either.

has anyone stolen a train? got it to derain out in the countryside.

also the big passenger jet from the las venturas airport....dont try to land it on your desert airfield, it doesnt fit.

the red baron mission took me awile.

the shooting one took ages. its so frustrating, but i eventually got it. just use the radar and go for the nearest targets.

the one where your flying iisnt as bad. theres a good order to do it in, i can't really remember it but i think you do the two nearby first, thn the one to the south and then the one to the north. you just have enough fuel. if you fly above the buildings, its alot easier cause your not weaving in and out of the gaps. stay above the buildings until the target is on a long straigt street then fly at ground level and shoot the hell outta them. the guys on bikes are easy, but the vans need a few passes.

Gone through it twice now. After finishing it the first time memory card stuffed up and I lost all the saves. So just finished redoing it. Havent finished everything yet, done all the g/f's. I recomend getting the cop and the nurse girlfriends because when you do it gives you free hospital and busted visits and you dont lose your weapons anymore either. Just need one more car for the import mission be damned if I can find it but.

after playing for 60+ hours my game is strating to have problems-

1. i cant go to the gym. my muscle rating was full but now it is dropping and whenever i go to the gym it says "you have exercized enough for today" even though i havent.

2. garages refuse to open. it usualy takes a bit of running around on the spot to get the door to open but one time i really needed to get it open and it just wouldn't. i had flew into area 47 and nicked off with a patriot (which is for the export ship) and with five stars on i drove it back to the garage at the airstrip. it wouldnt open and the hanger wouldnt either. so i ran back to the house and saved it (neat trick for getting rid off the cops ;)) i went out and it had exploded. and the garage opened and the cars i had in there were gone too. and the servise station garage was missing my prized elergy :)

i wasnt to happy, now i have to get another patriot from a military base

any ideas?

I just bought a PS2, the main reason being for san andreas and GT3.

WTF is up with the crappy HUD map ? U can't make out the 'bleeps' properly - Is that just cause i am too used to PC where everything is clear? But i have found i have to sit no more than 2m away from the TV or i cant make out bleeps - it's just crap...fuzzy...or sumpn (no it isnt my eyes)

Anyone know if running the componant cable would help?

Every other game is fine, I have never played a GTA game on PS2 before..maybe they are just crap in terms of the HUD - everything else is great

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
