You also need a driver's licence to ride one, so you can't go giving them to five year olds. This also means that if you are caught breaking the law (riding at night, riding unregistered, etc), then you lose you driver's licence.

Want a better idea? Throw a 33cc chainsaw motor on to a push bike and pull 90km/h out of it without the need for registration, insurance, a proper helmet, etc.

Yes i did buy one, but mine is the slightly bigger one that has head light, tail light and indicators etc. They are illegal to ride on the road as supposedley they dont comply with australian design rules (this i argued as mine only need side mirrors to have the same features as my full size bike) and if you get caught cops can do you for driving an unregistered vehicle, which can mean loss of license for 6 months if they want to be pricks. They also cant be registered as they have no engine numbers. I had a lengthy discussion with a cop i know on the subject after he saw mine. Your not even allowed to ride them in bike lanes with helmets on which is bullshit. Still fun for when there not looking tho;)

I had a look at one at a local PC shop and it was BLOODY TINY. I would have no chance whatsoever of riding it.

Wicked little things though - tons of fun and top value at that price!!!

the one I had a look at was at "Inspect a Gadget" (or some name like that) on Poole Ave, Klemzig. It was the owners own bike (that is kept out the back), but he used to sell them. Not sure if it is the same as the ones Matt's getting. Some guy (maybe from JMS) had one he was riding at the Drift day - I think MattR knows him?

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
