That's right Sam. More women like her to take $200.00 CASH CASH CASH for her 0.002 sec reaction time. And then nearly being too much of a champ to park her car to claim it!!

wrxkilla - I'd love that footage mate :)

Were you the little lady running the silver r33?

Luv the burnout Adrian and the look on your face like you are concentrating or something. A big appology for not going. I hate pikers. I can say with my cold and a vertibra out in top of my back and massive headache I have never felt so bad. I was actually on the way but when we finally went and got the special long shank wheel nuts for new 15 inch drag wheels Wednedsay arvo from depot as interstate courier stuffed up somehow, we found they hit the callipers even with spacers. We were cutting it fine as had some last minute things to do on the Wednesday to the car and this was the last straw. I went home and prob lucky did not force myself to go as I was pretty bad shape.

I heard it was a big night and a few of my zed buddies turned up so all good. Everyone had a great nigth. Paul L thanks for the hand bag and lippy yesterday. My wife saw it when I got home and was really wondering WHAT THE. I started to explain and she is still a bit. WHAT THE.

Anyway the anticipation builds. The brakes are sorted had to do some mods to rear end to fit the wheels. I WILL be there this Wednesday night for sure.

John,

Paul was just about first car up with the R34 GTR. When he saw all us late comers arrive he drove straight over asking where you were. He was pretty wild about it hey.... lol

Glad that he got your lippy and handbag back to ya. No girl can be without that hey?!?! :D

I hear that your motivation is coming from two other states of Australia with two other Zed-Boat Captains angling to be the first 10 sec VG powered 300 in Aus...

Good luck mate.

Adrian

If you do too many burnouts that are a bit big and you look like you're off with the fairies the officials pick on ya.

As it is now, they mostly all know that I don't fark around or get out of control when I'm doing them so they let me wave to the cameras and my mates in the crowd all I want :D :D :D

Better to concentrate - safer that way. I have some photos here with a REAL serious game-face on. Looks like i'm trying to force a fart :D

Adrian

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
    • Good luck on the weekend mate
    • Must have been an absolute nightmare to drive when the power steer was out, the rack ratio/wheel size/caster is all set up for power assistance
    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
