RB25DET Greddy Plenum

Hi guys,

Going to buy a Greddy plenum for the RB25 for simplicity of pipe work. In addition to my list below, what is involved in changing the plenum?

New gasket

Throttle cable modification (any recommendations?)

Throttle body adaptor

Water and vacum line extension?

hey gtst89, i will also be doing the same sometime in dec (will be doing it with fmic) with the Throttle body adaptor u can buy the kit with the plenum to suit the r33 rb25, or else i belived a Q45 throttle body will fit perfectly.

Water and vacim lines, if need to be extened is easy as going to buy the lines from autoshop (i guess it is the same stuff i use when i did my ebc)

I am also interested in the throttle cable mods :confused:

all i had to get was the Throttle body adaptor... greddy make it also got mine from advan you get all the lines etc etc with the plenum you will have to get some custom pipes to your cooler also relocate bov...

Does anyone know if there are english instructions around for installing one of these on a 33. About to do mine in the next few weeks.

You have to either make up a Throttle bracket and get a longer throttle cable, I have found going to a wreckers yard and getting an older model Nissan pintara cable works great. You also have to extend to connectors as they don't reach under the plenum to connect onto things like the AAC valve, so if you’re experienced in extending connections that shouldn't be a problem. Vacuum and water lines, only need to be trimmed up to fit. They are simple. Apart from that, theirs nothing else really to it.

I am also getting one of these in about 3 weeks or so. Want to start up a group buy through nengun or the like? I think they are just under $1000 there now so we could prob take $100 or more from that if we get a few numbers???

hey, im getting mine for $1375 to my door. alone with a Trust R-spl FMIC Kit, the piping suits the plenum for $3000 all up, i think thats not a bad deal

i have 2 people which i deal with wehn buying parts from jap (one is in perth the other is in queensland) i will ask them 2night if we get a group buy what is the best price we can get

Ok my price for groupbuy on the Plenum is $1300 To your door (inc everything tax,shipping etc)

$1300 is still a bit steep compared to some of the prices i've heard going around.

13_devil nengun has these for $1034 australian dollars... I am sure the price could drop significantly if we get a buy of half a dozen or more people... You want to start up a thread in the group buy section? or should i?

Croat, i will do it when i get some real pricers only problem with the nengun price as it doesnt inc shipping and tax i believed (could be wrong)

im sure nengun will be able to give a price with everything included... Maybe just get the price of the plenum and people can individually work out their shippings costs to their destinations?

i payed 1580 at advan and 170 for the adaptor but i wanted it that week for tuning

Hi guys, are you sure you wouldn't get more performance spending your money on something else, something that actually makes more power? Or is this a "rice" buy?

yeah i heard its actually worse than the stock plenum dunno if thats true or not

looks alot better though.............
