hi all, just wondering if anyone has used or had experience with fulda tyres? I need to replace my rears fairly soon, and the guy was trying to sell me a set in 205/55/16 for a r32. It is a daily driver and clocks up a few km's, so i need a certain level of durability, but good grip levels. Currently running toyo tpg's, but not particuarly impressed with grip or wear. Did a search but come up with nothing.

cheers for anyones input.

It all depends on how you drive........how many klms did you get out of your toyo's?

If you get bugger all klms out of your tyres then you might as well buy cheap ones. If you are "nice" on your tyres then buy the best things you can afford.

Sorry but i have heard very little about the performance of FULDA'S

cheers for the replys boys.

I drive the the thing how it is meant to be driven. Saying that i mean i like to get the power to the ground (mere 165rwkw, still stock turbo), and throw the thing round in the twisty stuff, but i still expect more than around 17000km. Am i expecting too much? Also expect them to grip once warmed up, not break into spin on gear changes. Went 225/50/16 before chasing grip, but made the car feel like a boat around corners on the stock 6.5" rims.

Will do some chasing round tomorrow and see what i can find.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
