oh brother, the lighthouse happy laps. I dont think ive been out on a sunday this year to the lighthouse. Ive never seen people with camcorders there filming though except on australia day last year. Do many people still go there? Living in wollongong i guess i could just check for myself next sunday, but im too LAZY

one thing i rememer the last time i was there was a r32 gtr killing it around the s bends coming up to the lighthouse. I couldnt believe how fast the fool was going. i remember thinking it would serve this guy right to either:

(i) lose it and miss everyone and fly into the ocean, but then i came to my senses and thought what a waste of a r32 gtr, so thought

(ii) c'mon cops where are you

and(iii) i couldnt help but admire the handling of the gtr whilst thinking u fool

i dont know seriously, if i didnt buy a house i would love to be there soon, but unfortunatly everytime i go to the track it cost me a couple of grand( thats if nothing goes wrong) so itll be a couple of months but when i go down it should be a good run hopefully

After last Wednesday at WSID I think you'd have to work pretty hard to escape the gaze of the Skyline fraternity. There were nearly as many 'lines running as every other car combined.

The last 15 runs of the night were basically R33's !!!

Adrian

My dad lives in Wollongong and so I regularly venture down there. Funnily enough, I hardly see any Skylines but, then again, I don't usually spend time down near the lighthouse or North beach.

My car is currently in my father's keep so keep an eye out for an old man behind the wheel of a gunmental grey R32 GT-R :P

LW.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
