ok... i thought i was a little stupid thinking that my r32 is diff to everyone elses... mainly cause of a few things....

The trim is different to every R32 that ive seen so far...

Its more of a suade type material and the colours arent as "stand outish" as everyone elses whos have like flicks and colours thru it and stuff. Whereas mine is grey.... someone suggested that it was because it was a earlier model... this however isnt correct either as ive seen Dr_Drifts one which is a 92 model and his new one which is a 91 model and they both had the same interior as Aits which is a 93 model.

also on the drivers door the window and mirror panel is different... most have a square flat nob where as mine has a round one...

ive checked it against GTS4 interirors of the same year which were also different... was more fluffy? i spose thats how u could describe it... http://www.geocities.com/brendonmoses/gts4page22.html

anyone else with an R32 have this type of interior? was it a factory option?

found a bonus today (apart from finding out from Troy i have adj shocks :P) the speakers in the front are aftermarket ones... carrozias or something like that....

speakersfront.jpg

which is a bummer cause i brought bloody 6" splits for the front...

also brought these but wont be able to stick them anywhere...

the 6" will fit in the back parcel... maybe i could hook the 6" in the back and the tweeters from them in the front to the ones that are already there....

ive pulled out the back seats.... might cut holes in the back part of the boot and stick the 6x9s in there and carpet the whole back bit.

Carrozaria is the Japanese brand name for Clarion. So these speakers cant be that bad. If I were you I would put those ones in the parcel shelf and your new ones at the front.

it says pioneer on them :P

will they fit in the back? i already hooked up the 6" there... they fit perfect!

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
