Yes, a few police cars are fitted with their digital network already for a trial basis...

District by district they are moving over to the digital system.

D district ( Northern Beaches, North Shore and Ku-Ring-Gai etc) will be the last district to get transferred due to the sheer size of the area and the number of new transmitters/repeater towers required. Some areas are already transferred over - Bankstown/Lakemba etc..

Scanners are completely legal.

Police/Emergency frequencies are publicly listed by the Australian Broadcasting Association (http://www.aba.gov.au/)

However using them to commit a crime or avoid enforcement is not.

Hey Jtir! i went to the site but couldnt find the frequencies. Would you be able to locate them for me and send them my way at [email protected]. Thanks dude!
