Ok sorry....

The MSCIII was an exciting day for me as i just got my new very yellow skyline and was very prowd to see 3000 photos of it featuring on many different fourms... The first night i had it 13 people took photos and one guys pointed out that i didnt have lock nuts on my $3500 rims. Very next day this problem was solved by buying 3 packs of lock nuts.... Cant get enough lock nuts. But the pinnicle of excitement was driving in amonst the best skylines in Brisbane and the coasts to a lovely BBQ by the lake. The car was in standard form for the cruise as it was my first day off with the car. To this day i have now modified almost everything. Having the car now for 2 months and only driving it for a week, I can safelly say it is now fast. On my way to autobarn right now to pick up my last bits for this series of mods. To cheer me up this morning i see to my delight the videos highlly requested by some pest "COL-GTSX" (me) hae been posted. I downloaded all of them and had my skyline fix. Very happy to see the quality of skylines that attended as i didnt get to see them all. I hope that this cruise was enjoyed by all as i had a ball. Thank you knore for your work. Next cruise i promise i will take my cameras and everyone can bug me for footage and photos. As for "strutto" thanks for beating me out of my 4 word morning. The reason is i went to play golf yesterday and now im a stiff as a board and in wuite a bit of pain (sunburn and very very sore back) but we did have some fun with the golf buggies... Who would have thought they do burnouts on wet grass.... LOL Anyways thanks man...

Thank you to all who attended it was fantastic.

Cheers Colin

The next massive skyline cruise will be held around the middle of the year so it's cooler for us and our cars when doing massive drives :)

Depending on where we go as to how many k's the cruises are. I think this one was around the 200k mark.

    • Nope, needed to clearance under the bar a little with a heat gun, a 1/2" extension as the "clearancer", and big hammer, I was aware of this from the onset, they fit a 2.0 with this intake no problems, but, the 2.5 is around 15mm taller than a 2.0, so "clearancing" was required  It "just" touched when test fitting, now, I have about 10mm of clearance  You cannot see where it was done, and so far, there's no contact when giving it the beans Happy days
    • It's been a while since I've updated this thread. The last year (and some) has been very hectic. In the second-half of 2024 I took the R34 on a trip through Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland - it was f*cking great. I got a little annoyed with the attention the car was getting around Europe and really didn't drive it that much. I could barely work on the car since I was living in an inner-city apartment (with underground parking). During the trip, the car lost power steering in France - split hose - and I ended up driving around 4,000kms with no power steering.  There were a few Nurburgring trips here and there, but in total the R34 amassed just shy of 7,000kms on European roads. Long story short, I broke up with the reason I was transferred to Europe for and requested to be moved back to Japan. The E90, loved it. It was a sunk cost of around EUR 10,000 and I sold it to a friend for EUR 1,500 just to get rid of it quickly. Trust me, moving countries f*cking sucks and I could not be bothered to be as methodical as I was the first time around.
    • I assume clearances were all a-okay?
    • Shock tower brace is in +5Kw....LOL
