Panel beater in Melbourne (E/SE suburbs pref)

Recommended Posts

those of you who have seen the pictures of my car will know it has some pretty ugly damage on the rear left. Now I'm after a panel beater who will do a decent job of fixing it up.

Can anyone recommend anyone they have used?

Looks like my chances of having her on the road by Banzi Battle are pretty slim but we'll see how it goes

I have twice used superfinish near the corner of warrigal rd and south rd moorabbin. (big white building)

All I can say is excelent job and excelent service.

Last time he did my car, they did more than what they quoted, just b/c they try to maintain a certain level of profesionalism, and reputation of quality...

Every other panel beater just tells me "yeah, yeah we can do that mate" when I ask them...

These guys took me in their workshop and showed me how they would do certain things.

I highly recommend them

Call 9532 0900, and ask for Con.

Say that George with the burgandy R33 recomended you.

sorry this panel beaters not in the area you want but i just want to say that Refinish in hoppers crossing suck dogs C0ck my paints a fkn different colour n they painted over a sticker dodgy b@asterds!!

i should of went to amex in heidelberg!!!

when i needed pannel beating done on my car I found a guy on cochranes road just opposite philip morris (atkins smash repair or something, guys name is Michael). He managed to give me my best quote first time and he acually lifted my car up on the hoist to have a look at what needed to be done. Was some under body work and everyone else just put there head under said some crap about being an expesive job then quoted me a huge number).

That guy was straight up

Highly Recomended

I think thats the place Nigel from ICE Performance got his Supra Done (Front Cover of HPI Vol. 46) and also won best paint at auto salon in Melb (April 04, not semi finals in Sept).

If it is the same place...QUALITY!!!!

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
