Awesome day!!!!

Was my first time out on the track and it was great to actually give my car a good beating after all the money I've poured into it....

Didn't like all the schumacher-wannabes on the track trying to overtake me on the corners, so gave them a hiding on the straights......

I think I'll need some cheater tyres next time to keep the speed around the corners, got quite a bit sideways a fews times....

Good to see all the usual SAU'ers, and got to meet a few new faces too...

Roy, shit happens mate, just lucky I brought the truck down!!!!!

Where do i take my car to get a rape kit done, obviously it memory of this horrible incident contributed to its nervous breakdown on Sunday.

And the Zed wasnt the same either...

ROFL.. someone arrest that man before he attacks again! :(

(I guess beers are on Adz come Tuesday)

I had a quick chat as I was leaving. I don't think he knew too much about the car but it was a silver R31 2 door which he said had been dressed up to look like a GTS-R. Was a damn tough looking car. Silver and had the plates "SEVNTH". Had an aftermarket turbo and other enine work. Very neat looking car. Was very quick too but didn't get any pics sorry.

    • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
