Happy new years guys!

I'm just in melb at the moment (boy this place sucks! :) ) There has been a bit of negative stuff around lately, so I thought I'd try and spin something positive on here :)

So what are people's plans for this year?

Who plans on going overseas?

Big plans for any of your cars?

Anybody getting married? popping out some kids? :)

Hopefully this year we can put some of the crap with the politics away and start some constructive building of SAU Queensland! I want to see a large calender of events this year guys and gals ;)

hmm.. now I have access to a printer down here, I should print out my membership form now shouldn't I... :)

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a safe new year.

Marriage? Kids? I don't think so, I still own a slow skyline! That's gotta be fast first. And I gotta find the right person to marry

But they say what you do on New Years Day is what you do for the rest of the year, so I guess sitting around eating crap and sleeping is what I'm gonna be doing for the rest of the year :)

Onwards and Upwards from here for SAu QLD.

oh no, so I'm going to be hungover all of this year? crap.. actually been there, done that back in my uni days

I am not even really sure what this year will hold.. Don't have any firm plans. Maybe start saving for a house or something boring like that.

Carwise, something along the lines of convert r32 to manual (the gearbox I bought here is going in the boot for the trip back).. drop in rb25, start building up the power in that - you know, simple stuff :) Thinking of flogging off the R31 and getting a wagon for the other car.. hopefully another skyline of course, lol.

happy new years everyone.

in honour of the new year I thought I'd share some of the happy memories from the last year.

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
    • That's my life. Past-Duncan has a lot to answer for
    • Yep four point harness. Mounted to a bolted in brace running behind the seats. Dont use it for daily driving tbh but good to have for when its needed plus it looks cool.
    • I had to double check the thread title r34 gtt offset advice lol. Thought maybe i posted on the wrong thread. 😂
