Theres this website.. it's called www.whereis.com.au. It's a great tool for directions and distances.

You should try it sometime.

Are you upset over something erin? this is probably the first time I have seen these type of comments from yourself, or am I wrong in stating the obvious?

As for the meeting spot for GC people, I suggest the person that knows how to get to the final meeting spot from GC make the decision. :P Which aint rod or me btw... :)

WTF...

Erin's given you GC boys every bloody direction possible as well as a meeting spot, I've given you directions, hell even the guy from Sunshine Coast has given you directions...

Yet you still ask: Where are we meeting? Where do we go? What about here?

I don't see anybody saying thanks for the effort Erin... If she comes across harsh it's because "you guys" come across as dumbarse lost children...

Whoa now I've got my cranky pants on...

least half of yas have pants on, jay might not have pants on at all so be careful

i most probably wont be able to make it due to the skyrocketing cost of keeping a 33 on the road

it is simple, the meet point is in brisbane, so fill your petrol tank at yatala untill you cant fit anymore in, usually the nozzle clicks out so you know this has happened, once thats done unless your car chews fuel at a stupid rate for some reason you should have a range of approximatly 300 - 500klm depending on your driving style and habits.

James

We will be stopping at the royal brisbane hospital on the way to our destination for some drifting.  Remeber If ambulance comes, show some respect and do one last drift before giving way.

*sigh* that was such a good thread for those of you who remember.

I might come out.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
