I'm thinking of going up there on Sunday to watch the action. Should be a good weekend.

This looks like a fantastic spectating event  The pics on their site are great, worth entering just to get shots of your car.

A lil off topic but what is this car that's part of it??? confuses me; tvr, jag, ford?

if you are going up to watch the action and come back on the same day....can i join you???

I'd say yes but I can't confirm I'm definitely going yet.... PM me your number and I'll give you a call on Saturday if I'm heading up.. it's quite a long drive, but some of the roads through Black Spur and Healesville are fantastic :(

I was there yesterday. It was an improvement on the organisation of last year, but communication to the crowds was apalling. During SS3 there was an enormous crash which lead to someone being airlifted out. The road was closed to all until 6pm... they could've let us all know what was going on instead of having us hang around waiting to leave for a couple of hours!

A great day nevertheless; it's such a great road to drive quick. I'll be up there again next year.

Just by the way - I'd quickly like to congratulate one of our estemed SAU Vic members - Geoff Beable - on another fine effort. He finished a very commendable 32nd outright.

All results can be found on the website.

    • I'd ask the shop what they used and use that. Mixing coolants is sometimes OK, sometimes not, and you have know the details of each coolant to know whether it's a good idea or not.
    • Is it alright to top up with just another green coolant?

    • Will have a look at that. I cant see any leaks
    • Put another overflow bottle (ie, a 1.25 coke bottle or similar) under the overflow hose and see if it is being pushed out there or if it is disappearing into the engine.
