JH32
I have a twin plate clutch in my car ... don't know the brand or anything about it though. How long do these sort of clutches usually last? It feels fine at the moment, so I was wondering how long do you reckon till I might have to replace it? Cheers. (just getting worried coz I was abusing it last night ) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/6245-how-long-do-clutches-last/ Share on other sites

JH32
Yeah but what I mean is .... will a twin plate clutch last a fair while, compared to a normal heavy duty clutch? Morgs
Clutch wear = According to driving - strength of clutch (+ gearbox wear) The bigger and better the clutch is, the longer it generally lasts. With a driveline you'll generally find the weakest point gets munched first, and if you're playing with monster clutches, be careful of the gearbox :uh-huh: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/6245-how-long-do-clutches-last/#findComment-94066 Share on other sites
