lol terminal i just realised your name is andrew too, IT JUST WONT STOP!!!! j/ks it was a good night last night, although braddon was kinda dead and hume was so dead the only car there was 3 skylines  ahwell hot chics in a little pink thing kept trying to give us a run, if only neons werent illegal to have on while driving!!! we wouldve looked pimp!!! word of advice.... never eat at RJ's!!! we shouldve gone to chicken gourmet...

Hume was alright last night.......for a little while.

I headed straight there after I left you guys at the Museum, once I got there the police cruiser showed up so most of the bogans high tailed it.

Was an interesting night there, the usual white 180sx, red VRX and silvias showed up.

As well as Alex in his brand new R33 GTST.....it's that dark green/bluey colour so give him a wave if you see him around (southside).

No one did anything as the unmarked red HSV was sitting right next to us all. Still good to have a chat with like minded enthusiasts.

Didnt get to the museum till about 11:30 and no-one was there so we went to civic for a feed. Spotted a silver series 1 out the back of the old car park and also The Sandman havin a feed at Ali Babers. Maybe next time Im up that way i might get to meet ya's.

did you just say silvias??? omg i cant believe i missed it, were the majority S13's? what time did you get there? cause andrew and i got there at like 11.30-12

Two S13's.

I got there at about quarter past ten. By the time you guys had shown up we would have moved onto a different section of Hume. Some nutters on dirt bikes were provoking the police there so we went somewhere else to chat.

lol,

cmon ppl come out tonite!!! shaun u shud be there so i can take pics of ur car, the last and only time i ever saw it was at the pub on tuesday!!! and same goes for u andrew (veilside) i wanna take pics of ur ride before u sell it.... memorabilea (i think thats how u spell it)

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if there was anyone in the northside(eg gungahlin) that hasnt left yet who would like an extra passanger? I'd love to come and meet a few of you guys and gals and see your rides. I should be getting mine soon, but would love to head out for tonight if someone is able to help me.

Thanks,

Nathan

Woops my bad! I'm northside and would have had no objections to taking a passenger! Only problem is... I just read this now!!! Any one cruising tonight? I just had my car cleaned "full valet"

Damn they cleaned it good! Its even got a new car smell about it! lol.

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
