Brand new garrett GT Series turbo rated at 700 hp. This turbo is also

commonly known as the GT35/40R as it has the GT35 turbine wheel

and the larger GT40 compressor wheel.

Front A/R is 0.7

Rear A/R is 0.82

4'' inlet with massive bell mouth to suck in plenty of laminar air

2.5" outlet to suit intercooler pipe work

Turbine housing: GT30 non wastegated.

Inlet: T3

Outlet :GT30

Ball bearings allow the turbo spin forever, even when spun by hand.

Item includes Garrett warranty from date of purchase.

Unlike bushed (STD wet floating bearing) turbos that need replacing/rebuilding

at 40,000 klm in performance applications, this will only require new oil seals

at 80,000 klm. This means long term savings!

Utilizing the latest compressor and turbine wheel design these have proved to

spool up even faster providing more drivability, stronger midrange power and torque

with better reliability.

Inconel turbine shaft which is extremely light allowing quicker turbo response

and heat resilient this turbo is top shelf with no expense spared.

Recommended retail is $2960

Turbo only $1950

HKS Cast manifold.

This will not crack! In addition it can be further ported, extrude honed etc for further improvement if need be. As you can see from the pic's, the design is pretty good. All runners are split as far up to the collector as possible which will give good top end and mid range performance. It even splits the wastegate gasses.

This has a T3 flange, but is big enough to be drilled for a T4 flange if required.

I usually use these with GT30/35/40 BB turbo's due to the T3 flange. Due to the low mount design, you minimize any unwanted attention from the cops! If you need more info feel free to contact us.

Manifld only $950

Manifold and Turbo combination $2700

Moderators still waiting for comeone to replt RE: Trader details etc

These manifolds are not made by HKS anymore. They now produce the Stainless ones which seem to be good! However I cant see them being tuneable in the way of further porting at a later date etc.

So basically there is only 1 available!

So that large turbo will fit in the low mount position ?

What size wastegate would i need for that turbo? HKS 60mm ?

Yes, it will fit! Nice and snug! I have fitted a couple of these to RB30/Rb25 combo's and 1 bar is reached before just 2400 RPM and 2000 with the 3040 turbo!

Wastegate size would depend on the boost you are running and if its dumping to atmosphere or plumbed back. Generally 40mm will be OK in most situations. If for some reason you want to run a measly 7-9 psi, you will need a 50-55mm gate.

Its a common misconception you need large wastegates. They are only to relieve pressure (not flow) in 99% of applications. The other 1 % is in extream circumstances. e.g Cars that have an uncanny amount of exhaust gas. I.e. RB engines wouldnt have anywhere near as much exhaust flow as a 13B even if it had an RB30 bottom end and only if it rev'd to 9,000 rpm or so.

Remember the exhaust wheel on most of these large Hp set up's flow gobs of air and only sight pressure variations are enough to control boost.

But by all means if you have the cash to flash, go big!

What's the reason for selling? How laggy would this turbo be on an RB25DET-NEO with tomei poncams...?

As laggy as a 700 Hp set up would be on an RB25 with flow to make an easy 350 rw kw...

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
