yes this turbo will fit an r32 i had one on my old car, it pulled alot harder higher up in the rev range than the stock r32 turbo did. ive seen ppl with these turbo making figures around the 180rwkw mark (with other mods of course)

hmm

not wanting to rain on your sale ... but that turbo has 45 v1 printed on the side ...

this is an early r33 turbo, prolly series 1, the turbo that was on my series 2 was a 45 v4, and i believe is the latest version of turbos they fitted to the r33's .. someone correct me there ...

would be worth researching what version of turbo the r34 is supposed to have imho ..

just my 2c, and waiting to be stood corrected ...

so is this a 33 or 34 turbo? i'm confused......

i THOUGHT it was from an r33, as the 45 v1 pertains to the version number, version 1, the turbo that came off my series 2 r33 was a version 4, and i now have a high flow from GCG on there that is a version 3 ... i was told that the lower the V number the older the turbo ...

but if people with r34's can confirm that the 45v1 is from an r34 as well ... then who knows ... just down to what the seller says it is ... of which i have NO basis to think hes not telling the truth ....

just my 2c

Flaps - those results are excellent from a newer stockie

So is there much diff b/w 33 and 34 turbos? anybody know.

Sorry to ask so many questions.

BTW - alarmguy - any budgeo n the price? Its a little out of my bracket.

Cheers

I have fitted two R34 turbos- one was into a R33 when the old turbo died

The second was into a R32, they are a direct fit.

I'll make an offer of $500 as I need another one for an R32. Excuse my rudeness but I think $800 is way too high even if its got 24km. This amount of km means the turbo is well and truly run in and is by no means even close to new

As to the question of whether they are different the answer is not really. They look exactly like an R33 turbo and pretty much perform identically.

I had my R33 dynoed before and after one was fitted with no power difference.

hey alarm guy, can we meet up sometime soon? I'd like to have a look at it and if its all good, i'lll put a price down.

buzz me on 0422-252-683

Ask for Tony - cheers

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
